Its a yummy bottlegourd mutton curry.Tastes great with chapathis and rice.
- Grind coconut powder along with cloves cinnamon and cardamom.
- Cut the mutton in to small pieces ,wash it and keep it aside. cut the onions and tomatoes.
- Cook the tomatoes in microwave till they get soft. Peel the bottle gourd and cut into small pieces.
- Take a pressure cooker and place it on stove top.
- Heat the oil and add diced onions. After the onions caramalise little bit add ginger garlic paste and cook it for 1 minute. add bottle gourd pieces and cook it for 2 more minutes.
- Then add the mutton coconut and garam masala paste.Pour water needed to cook mutton and close the pressure cooker.
- No.of whistles depend on quality of mutton. After the pressure cooker is cooled open it and add red chili powder, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder and the microwave cooked tomatoes.
- Cook it for 5 minutes till you get desired consistency.
- You can add water if you need more gravy.
- Atlast add cilantro and switch off the stove.
Delicious Mutton curry is ready.
