Among all the murukkus Sago murukku is the most favorite one at my place. I bet you would finish the whole batch in a day or two and would definitely prepare again.

Ingredients used in SAGO MURUKKU
• Sago powder - half cup.
• Rice flour - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Carom seeds - half tea spoon.
• Oil - to fry.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Take a bowl, add sago powder, rice flour, salt, red chili powder, carom seeds crushed using both palms, 1-2 teaspoon hot oil and mix by shortcrust method.
  • Add water and mix nicely to make a murukku dough.
  • Place dough in 3 hole murukku press and press in hot oil pan and deep fry until it is crispy.

Now Sago Murukku is ready to serve.
