RAW BANANA POORNAM BURELU

Ingredients used in RAW BANANA POORNAM BURELU
• Raw banana - 1 number.
• Jaggery(grated) - 1 cup.
• Cardamom powder - ½ tea spoon.
• Urad dal - ½ cup.
• Rice - 1 cup.
• Salt - 1 pinch.
• Cooking soda - 1 pinch.
• Oil - to fry.
Method:
  • Boil the raw banana and remove the peel and grate it.
  • Take a bowl and add grated raw banana, jaggery, cardamom powder and mix thoroughly.
  • Take small dumpling and make round balls and keep aside.
  • Soak the urad dal and rice separately for 1 hour in water.
  • Take the mixie jar and add urad dal, rice, salt and blend it into a thick smooth batter.
  • Add a pinch of cooking soda and mix well.
  • Take the prepared raw banana ball and dip in urad dal batter and deep fry in hot oil until it is golden brown in color.
