Ingredients used in Quail Mushrooms
• Quails (bird) - 8 numbers.
• Mushrooms (sliced) - 10 numbers.
• Flour - 1 tablespoon.
• Butter - 4 tablespoons.
• Garlic paste - 4 tablespoons.
• Tomatoes (chopped) - 2 numbers.
• Chicken stock - 2 cups.
• Salt - to taste.
• Black peppers - to taste.
• Red chilli powder - to taste.
• Cayenne peppers - half tea spoon.
• Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • In a bowl add flour, quail, sprinkle with garlic paste, salt, black peppers, red chilli powder, cayenne peppers and lemon juice. Marinate it for sometimes.
  • Melt butter in a frying pan, add quail, cook it well till it get brown by turning often. Add the chicken stock and tomatoes. Cover and cook it for 20 minutes.
  • Put quail on hot platter and cover with aluminum foil. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
  • Add flour to pan and cook until thickened. Pour over quail and sprinkle with parsley.
