Ingredients used in Mushroom Pickle Pulao
• Mushroom pieces (chopped) - 1 cup.
• Water - as required.
• Whole garam masala (each) - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
• Basmati rice (soaked) - 1 cup.
• Ghee - as required.
• Onions(chopped) - 1 number.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 3 number.
• Mint leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Curd - 1 cup.
• Tender tamarind and raw red chilies pickle - 1 tablespoon.
• Lemon juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Saffron water - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Boil water in a pan, season with whole garam masala spices, salt, ghee.
  • Once it comes to boil, add soaked basmati rice, and cook it with closed lid.
  • Heat ghee in a pan, add onion, green chilies, chopped mint & coriander leaves, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, curd, and cook it well.
  • To it now add chopped mushroom pieces, along with tender tamarind and raw red chilies pickle, lemon juice.
  • On top of it spread boiled rice, sprinkle saffron water and cook it for 2-3 more minutes.

DeliciousMushroom Pickle Pulao is now ready to serve.
