Ingredients used in korrameenu fish curry
• Coriander/daniya powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Garlic grated - 1 teaspoons.
• Onions chopped - 1 small.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - half teaspoons.
• Red chilli powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Ginger-garlic paste - 2 teaspoons.
• Cumin/jeera powder - half teaspoons.
• Fenugreek(methi) seeds powder - quarter teaspoons.
• Tamarind - 50 grams.
• Oil - 1 or 2 tablespoons.
• Fish pieces - 500 grams.
• Curry leaves - 2 tablespoons.
• Spring onions - 2 teaspoons.
• Coriander leaves - 2 teaspoons.
• Fresh fenugreek/methi leaves - 1 teaspoons.
Method:

first clean the fish pieces with salt or wheat flour and water to remove the bad smell. for jeera-methi powder,fry jeer and methi seeds in 2:1 ratio without any oil on tawa,make into powder. After cleaning the fish,take one bowl and add fish pieces,tamarind juice(enough to fish,here some 100ml),red chilli powder,turmeric,ginger-garlic paste,zeera-methi powder.Mix all together and keep aside for marination of some 10mins. Now,take a deep vessel and put some oil.once oil heats up,add onion chopped,garlic grated and fry for onions to turn golden brown.Add some coriander powder and add immediately the fish mix with gravy that we prepared before(no need to put any water).put some curry leaves,salt and close the lid allow it to cook until gravy thickens or oil comes out.Add some salt and some water(if you require more gravy).Before taking off from the flame,add fresh methi leaves,spring onions,coriander leaves and cook for 5mins.
