Ingredients used in indian Chicken Biryani(in sahi style)
• Garlic paste - 1 tablespoons.
• Chilli powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Turmeric - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Basmati rice - 3 cup.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Cumin powder - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Sada jeera - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Sada marich - 1 tablespoons.
• Puree of tomatoes - 3 piece.
• Oil - 5 tablespoons.
• Yogurt - 1 cup.
• Ajwain - 1 tablespoons.
• Dalda/ghee - 1 cup.
• Rose water - 2-3 drops.
• Onion - .
Method:
1.mix Yogurt, Tomato puree, chilli powder, turmeric, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala powder,cumin powder, coriander powder, biryani masala and salt for taste in a bowl. Take chicken and marinade for 1 hour in the mixture.
2.Soak Rice for half hour.
3.now Take a big pan,put oil in it let the oil heat.
4.Add ajwain fry for few seconds now add chopped onions fry it till nice brown colour.Now add the marinaded chicken in kadhai let the chicken cook for 10-15 mins.
5.add soaked rice.wait for few seconds,now add water, add a few drops of rose water.put lid on kadhai,let the rice cook on a low flame for 15-20 mins at least.
u can add sliced egg.
