Ingredients used in Kheema Pav
• Oil - as required.
• Bay leaf - 1 number.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Soaked chick peas - 1 cup.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Tomato (chopped) - 2 number.
• Water - as required.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Mint leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1/2 bunch.
• Mutton khemma - 250 grams.
• Salt - to taste.
• Green peas - 1/2 cup.
• Butter - as required.
• Pav bread - 2 number.
• Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Chat masala - 1 tea spoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • In a pan add oil, bay leaf, cumin seeds, onions, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, soaked chickpeas, coriander powder, cumin powder, tomatoes, water and cook it well.
  • Now add red chili powder, mint leaves, coriander leaves, kheema, salt and mash it with smasher and cook it well.
  • Take a tawa add butter and toast the pav bread and keep aside.
  • In the same tawa add cooked mixture onion, coriander leaves, lemon juice, chat masala, garam masala powder, red chili powder and cook it.
  • Now take the pav bread and place the kheema mixture in the middle and serve it.
