Ingredients used in Kakitamajiru - Egg Drop
• Dashi soup stock - 1/3 cup.
• Egg - 2 numbers.
• Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon.
• String beans (boil) - 15 numbers.
• Shiitake mushrooms - 2 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Thinly slice shiitake mushrooms
  • Heat dashi soup stock in a pan.
  • Add shiitake slices, soy sauce and salt in the soup and bring to a boil.
  • In a bowl, lightly beat eggs.
  • Add the beaten eggs into the soup slowly.
  • Stop the heat and add boiled string beans in the soup.

Serve hot,
