Ingredients used in Idli Uppuma
• Idli - broken to small pieces - 1(1/2) cup.
• Onions chopped - 1/2 cup.
• Chopped green chilies - 3 no.
• Curry leaves - 1 no.
• Oil - as required.
• Ginger - a small - piece.
• Salt - as required.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Channa dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, when it pops, add urad dal, gram dal and chopped onions, green chillies, chopped ginger, few curry leaves saute it.
  • When the onions turn colourless, add the idli piece's. If required add salt. Cook for 5 minutes until they mix up well.

Serve it hot.
