Precondition:
- Preheat oven at 180 degrees. Grease a baking tray and line it with baking paper.
For the Base:
- Mix 1 Egg, 125 gram Butter, 125 gram Sugar, Vanilla Sugar, Baking Powder, All purpose flour, Semolina and a pinch of salt. Knead it into a smooth dough and refrigerate it.
For the filling:
- Separate 4 egg whites and yolks. Beat the egg whites with a hand mixer till it reaches a creamy consistency and set aside. In another bowl, beat egg yolks with 150 gms sugar, lemon peel, Quark/ Cheese Curd, Sour cream, Vanilla Pudding and 40 gms Butter.
- Mix egg whites with the other beaten mixture (Don't over mix). Now place the refrigerated base in the baking tray and flatten it uniformly with your hand. Pour the filling over it and bake it in the oven for 45 minutes.
