Ingredients used in CHIKKUDU GINJALA MASALA
• Broad bean seeds - 2 cup.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Tomatoes - 2 numbers.
• Cinnamon - 2 sticks.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Dried fenugreek leaves - 2 tablespoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Yogurt - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Boil the bean seeds and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in pan then add cumin seeds, cinnamon, cloves, turmeric, onions and slightly saute them.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste, tomato pieces, green chillies, salt, red chilly powder and mix well.
  • Close the lid and let it cook.
  • Once the tomatoes are cooked mash them and add coriander powder, dried fenugreek leaves and mix it.
  • Then add curd, boiled bean seeds, water and mix it thoroughly.
  • Let it cook with lid on it, and after 5 minutes just switch off the flame.
  • Your tastiest Broad bean seeds masala is ready to serve.
