Ingredients used in Chicken 65 Style Biryani |
• Basmati rice (soaked for 1 hour) - 1 cup. |
• Chicken - 250 grams. |
• Salt - to taste. |
• Brown onion/fried onion - 1/2 cup. |
• Mint leaves - 1 bunch. |
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch. |
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon. |
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon. |
• Green chilies - 4 number. |
• Ghee - 1/2 cup. |
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon. |
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon. |
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon. |
• Whole garam masala (each) - as required. |
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon. |
• Curd - 1 tablespoon. |
• Pepper powder (crushed) - 1 tea spoon. |
• Curry leaves - 1 spring. |
• All purpose flour/maida - 1 tablespoon. |
• Rice flour - 1 tea spoon. |
• Flavoring salt - 1/2 tea spoon. |
• Oil - as required. |
Method: |
- Heat ghee in a pan, add mint leaves, ginger garlic paste, green chilies, coriander powder, whole garam masala spices (bay leaf, shah jeera, cloves, cardamom, star anise, biryani flower), cumin powder, curd, along with salt, cook it.
- Once it comes to boil, put soaked basmati rice and cook it all water is evaporated.
- When rice is cooked, top it with fried onion, and let it cook for 1-2 minutes.
Preparation of Chicken 65:
- Marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste, pepper powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, curry leaves, garam masala powder along with all-purpose flour, rice flour, and flavoring salt.
- Now fry the marinated chicken pieces in hot oil tillchicken turn golden brown in color.
- At last, serve the cookedbasmatirice by topping with fried chicken. Enjoy.
