BHENDI MADHUR KADI

Ingredients used in BHENDI MADHUR KADI
• Big sized okra(lady’s finger) pieces - 1 cup.
• Rice paste(soaked for 1 hr) - 1 cup.
• Tamarind juice - 1 cup.
• Ginger garlic paste - half tablespoon.
• Green chilli paste - 1 tablespoon.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Oil - as required.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 2 spring.
• Coriander leaves - half bunch.
• Sambar powder - half tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Take the pan and heat oil then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, onions, ginger garlic paste and saute it.
  • Now add okra pieces, turmeric powder, green chilli paste, tamarind juice and saute.
  • Now add rice paste and mix thoroughly.
  • Let it boil till the mixture thickens then add sambar powder, coriander powder and switch off the stove.
  • Then garnish with coriander leaves and serve it.
