Ingredients used in Watermelon Chicken Soup
• Watermelon - 1 number.
• Chicken bones - 250 grams.
• Water (hot) - as required.
• Cardamom - 3 number.
• Peppercorns - 1 tea spoon.
• Bay leaf - 3 number.
• Cinnamon stick - 1 number.
• Green chilies - 3 number.
• Ginger (finely chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic (finely chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Tomatoes (chopped) - 1 number.
• Oil - as required.
• Salt - to taste.
• Carrot(chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Capsicum (chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1/4 cup.
• Pepper powder - 1/4 cup.
Method:
  • Prepare red watermelon pieces to juice as shown in the video.
  • Separately keep watermelon outer layer aside.
  • Boil chicken bones in hot water by seasoning with cardamom, peppercorns, bay leaf, cinnamon stick.
  • To it, even add green chilies, finely chopped ginger, garlic, onion, tomatoes without seeds and cook on slow flame.
  • Heat oil in a pan, saute the watermelon outer layer pieces for about a minute.
  • Then pour the earlier prepared stock by seasoning with salt and cook it.
  • Also, remove the meat in chicken bones and put it in the soup.
  • Along with chopped carrot, capsicum, tomato, coriander leaves, pepper powder.
  • After about 2-3 minutes, add corn flour slurry for thickness.

DeliciousWatermelon Chicken Soup is now ready to serve.
