URGENT CHICKEN

Ingredients used in URGENT CHICKEN
• Red color - half tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Coriander powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Red chilli powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Soya sauce - 2 teaspoons.
• Red wine vinegar - 2 teaspoons.
• Yoghurt - half cup.
• Black pepper corns - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chillies ( serrano works food, or any hot one) - 3 piece.
• Cilantro - half cup.
• Chicken ( thighs skinless) - 6 piece.
• Cilantro chopped for garnish - 1 bunch.
• Ginger and garlic paste - 2 teaspoons.
• Onion small sliced - 1 piece.
• Curry leaves - 2 sticks.
Method:
  • Clean the chicken pieces, and marinate it with vinegar, soya sauce, 1teaspoon of the ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, and color if adding.
  • Pound together chopped cilantro, green chillies, and the peppercorns in your ding chik, and add it to the marinating chicken, and let the chicken rest for atleast 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, put the chicken with the marinate in a heavy bottomed pan, and cover and cook on low flame, for about 10minutes.
  • While the chicken is cooking, heat oil in a seperate pan and add the sliced onions, and curry leaves, and fry till golden brown, add the other half of the ginger garlic paste and fry fro a few seconds, and to this add the cooked chicken and cook on med.
  • low heat till all the water is evaporated and the dish has a thick gravy, and the chicken is cooked. Check for seasoning and add more salt if needed, garnish with fresh chopped cilantro and serve.
