Ingredients used in Simple Onion Gravy
• Onion (chopped) - 1 cup.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Whole garam masalas (each) - 3 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - pinch.
• Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 3 numbers.
• Water - as required.
• Methi leaves - 1 cup.
• Curd - 1/2 cup.
• Lemon - 1 number.
• Chicken - 500 grams.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Black cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
Take a pan add oil, whole garammasala, onions chopped mix well add salt fry until onions are golden brown color. Now remove the excess oil, then add turmeric, ginger garlic paste mix well. Now add coriander powder, red chill powder, green chilies, if required salt, mix well and add water as needed bring it to boil. onion gravy is ready. To this gravy add methi leaves, marinated chicken and cook until the chicken is done then add chopped coriander leaves. NOTE: To the mariante chicken, add curd, salt and lemon keep aside for 2hours.
