Ingredients used in Karam Parathas
• Pepper corns - 1 tea spoon.
• Dry red chilies - 4 number.
• Chana dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Rice - 1 cup.
• Tamarind pulp - 1/2 cup.
• Curry leaves - 2 spring.
• Coriander leaves ( chopped ) - 1 bunch.
• Sesame seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Hing - 1 pinch.
• Malabar parathas - 2 number.
• Pineapple ( chopped ) - 1 tea spoon.
• Beaten curd - 1 cup.
• Fresh cream - 1/2 cup.
• Sugar - 1 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Dry roast pepper corns, dry red chilies, chana dal and saute it.
  • Then add urad dal, rice, tamarind pulp, curry leaves, coriander leaves.
  • Now saute well by adding sesame seeds, hing and grind to a coarse powder ( gun powder).
  • Cut Malabar parathas into pieces and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, fry Malabar parathas, transfer to a plate and mix well by sprinkling prepared powder.

For Raitha :

  • Chop pineapple pieces and keep aside.
  • Take beaten curd in a bowl, add fresh cream, sugar and mix it well.
  • Season it with salt, pineapple pieces and mix it well.

Karam Parathas are now ready to serve with raitha
