Ingredients used in Kala Chana Ghost
• Mutton pieces - 500 grams.
• Brown onion - 1 cup.
• Boiled chana dal - 1 cup.
• Black cardamom - 2 number.
• Sesame seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Bay leaf - 2 number.
• Cloves - 2 number.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Poppy seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Dedicated coconut - 1 tablespoon.
• Water - as required.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
Method:
Grind fine paste of brown onion and boiled chana dal. Dry roast black cardamom, bay leaf, cloves, coriander seeds till they turn to black color. Then add sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dedicated coconut, and grind to coarse powder. Heat oil in a pan, add mutton pieces along with water and cook it at least for 20 minutes. Later add ground chana paste, red chili powder, ground black masala and cook till oil oozes out. Once it happens, then garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve it hot.
