Ingredients used in Jeera Pakhala
• Rice - 2 cup.
• Kala jeera - 25 grams.
• Oil - 2 teaspoons.
• Curry leaf(bhrusunga patra) - 1 number.
• Red pepper(sukhila lanka) - 4 numbers.
Method:
  • Firstly Boil the water in vessel, add washed rice and cook till it is half done
  • Heat oil in a pan add red pepper,Kala Jeera and fry them till they splutter
  • Now add the prepared rice, some more water, curry leaves and cook for another 5mins and serve hot.

this is absolutely wrong!!!!! Pakhala is nothing but fermented rice!!! I am really pained to see wrong recipes in your site as i mentioned me and my husband are big fan of yours but i think somebody is giving you wrong information!!!!!
