Ingredients used in GINGER CHICKEN
• Turmeric - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Red chilli powder - half tea spoon.
• Jeera powder - half tea spoon.
• Pepper powder - half tea spoon.
• Tomato puree - half cup.
• Onion - half number.
• Ginger - 1 tablespoon.
• Chicken - 2 lbs.
• Salt - to taste.
• Green chillies - 2 numbers.
Method:
Wash chicken. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and marinate while you cut onions, green chillies and ginger. Heat oil in a pan, saute onions until they are light brown. Add ginger and green chillies and fry until ginger is cooked. Add tomato puree and and bring it to boil and add marinated chicken and cook until chicken is cooked and sauce thickens. Add pepper and jeera powders and cook for couple of mins. Granish with coriander leaves.
