Dry Shrimps Drumstick Curry

Ingredients used in Dry Shrimps Drumstick Curry
• Dry shrimps - 1 number.
• Oil - as required.
• Shahi jeera - 1 tea spoon.
• Cloves - 3 number.
• Cinnamon stick (1 inch) - 3 number.
• Cardamom - 4 number.
• Bay leaf - 1 number.
• Curry leaves - 3 springs.
• Onions (chopped) - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Desiccated coconut powder - 1 cup.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Drumsticks (chopped) - 1 cup.
• Tomatoes (chopped) - 1 number.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coconut milk - 1/2 cup.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add whole garm masala spices (shahi jeera, cloves, cinnamon stick, cardamom, bay leaf), curry leaves, chopped onions, salt and saute it till onions are slightly transparent.
  • Then add desiccated coconut powder to it and stir till it turns to light brown.
  • In the same pan, add turmeric powder, chopped drumsticks and cook it for about 2-3 minutes.
  • To it, even add chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, along with water, let it cook for some time.
  • Soak dry shrimps in water, later strain it.
  • Now, transfer it to the above pan and cook it.
  • At last, to add more flavor to dish put coconut milk and adjust the seasoning.

Delicious Dry Shrimps Drumstick Curry is now ready to serve.
