DOOBKI MATRI

Ingredients used in DOOBKI MATRI
• Coriander seeds - 1/2 tablespoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tablespoon.
• Carom seeds - 1/4 tablespoon.
• Red chilli flakes - 1 tablespoon.
• Refined flour - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - to fry.
• Red chillies - 8 numbers.
• Fennel seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Tomatoes - 2 numbers.
• Sugar - 1/2 tablespoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.
Method:
  • Take a pestle add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, carom seeds, red chili flakes and crush it.
  • Take a bowl add the crushed mixture, refined flour, salt, oil, sprinkle some water and make it like a dough and rest it.
  • Then portion the dough and roll them like small disks.
  • In a pan add oil for deep frying these disks.
  • Then transfer into a plate.

For chutney:

  • Take a pan add oil, red chilies, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, roughly chopped tomatoes, salt, sugar and mix it then leave it for 4-5 minutes then add coriander leaves.
  • Once it is cooked transfer into a mixie jar and grind it.
  • Then transfer chutney into a bowl.

Now doobki matri and tomato chutney is ready to serve.
