Chitti Ullipaya Tho Chicken Curry

Ingredients used in Chitti Ullipaya Tho Chicken Curry
• Coriander seeds - 1/2 cup.
• Dry red chilies - 5 number.
• Pepper corns - 1/2 cup.
• Fennel seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Baby onions - 10 number.
• Oil - as required.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 3 springs.
• Chicken - 1 cup.
• Coconut milk - 1/2 cup.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Dry roast coriander seeds, pepper corns, dry red chilies till they turn slightly brown in color then add fennel seeds, cumin seeds , saute them and blend them to a fine powder.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add baby onions, saute it well, transfer to the same blender cointaining powdered masala,blend them all to a fine paste and keep aside.
  • Use the same pan to heat oil, add ginger garlic paste, curry leaves, salt prepared paste and cook it till oil oozes out of the gravy.
  • Now add chicken and cook it with closed lid for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Then add coconut milk, coriander leaves, give it a mix and cook for some more time.

Delicious and spicy Small Onion Chicken Curry is now ready to serve.
