This looks similar to the watery red curry my friend's Indian maid cooks when visit India, and I love it. I don't remember the name of it, but I hope this shorva taste similar or better when I attempt this recipe.

Could i substitue the freshly blended coconut by using packaged dissicated coconut? Because I don't know how to crack a coconut, let alone blend one.
