Ingredients used in Chicken pakoda
• Chicken (without skin & bones) - 500 grams.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 numbers.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 1-2 numbers.
• Salt - 1+1/2 tea spoon.
• Cumin (ground ) - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Vinegar - 2 tea spoon.
• Curd - 1 cup.
• Lemon juice - 1 tea spoon.
• All purpose flour - 1/2 cup.
• Corn flour - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Make a batter of all purpose flour, corn flour by adding seasoning of salt and keep aside.
  • Put onions, green chilies, cumin, ginger garlic paste, salt, vinegar, curd, lemon juice except for chicken and batter in blender and blend till coarse pieces.
  • Marinate the chicken pieces with the resulting mixture. Keep in the fridge for 40 minutes.
  • Put chicken in batter and deep fry until its color changes to golden brown Condiments.
  • Serve the chicken pakora with coriander or mint chutney or tomato ketchup
