Ingredients used in Chettinad Prawn Masala
• Garlic - 10 piece.
• Tomatoes - 1 numbers.
• Onions - 2 numbers.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Chilli powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Prawns - 250 grams.
• Cloves, cinammon, bay leaf - few .
• Lemon juice - 1 teaspoons.
• Oil - 3 tablespoons.
Method:

Clean and Wash prawns well. Marinate prawns with 1tbsp chilli powder, 1/2tbsp turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and lemon juice for at least an hour. Keep the kadai on the stove and add oil. Then add Cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf. After frying add onions, garlic and fry till golden brown. Now add tomatoes and fry well till it mashes. Add salt, chilli powder and cook for few more minutes. Add the marinated prawns and cook till the oil ouces out. Donot cook prawns for longer time as it may get a rubber like texture. Granish with corriander leaves and Chettinad Prawn masala is ready.
