Ingredients used in Carrot Rasam
• Carrot - 4 numbers.
• Tamarind - lemon size large.
Method:
  • Peel and wash the carrots and grind them in a blender to fine paste.
  • Now heat the vessel and add 3tea spoons of oil, once oil gets heat add two red chillies, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves when they start spluttering add onions and green chillies when onions get brown colour add carrot paste and let it cook for 10minutes.
  • Now make tamarind pulp by adding some water to tamarind and then add it to carrot.
  • Add little turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt to taste.
  • After it starts boiling add 1tea spoon of coconut powder, coriander powder and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Dish is ready to serve. you can add boiled eggs in the end if u r interested.
