Ingredients used in Okra & Eggs Cooked In Sour Curry
• Oil - as required.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Dry red chili - 3 number.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Curry leaves - 3 springs.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Hing - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Okra(lady’s fingers) - 15 number.
• Coconut powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Roasted chana powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Tamarind pulp - 1 cup.
• Water - as required.
• Red chili powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Eggs (boiled) - 5 number.
Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds when they splutter add dry red chilies, cumin seeds, chopped onions, curry leaves, salt,ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and saute well. Now add hing,chopped okra(ladies fingers) and cook it. Add coconut powder, roasted chana powder, tamarind pulp, the required amount of water, red chili powder, give it a mix, cook it with closed lid, then add boiled eggs, chopped coriander leaves and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. *Delicious Okra & Eggs Cooked In Sour Curry is now ready to serve with hot rice.*
