Ingredients used in Amla Instant Sweet And Hot Pickle
• Amla / gooseberries - 10 number.
• Jaggery - 1 tablespoon.
• Sesame oil - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Dry red chillies - 5 number.
• Hing - pinch.
• Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Garlic - 20 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 2 bunch.
• Red chilli powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
Heat sesame oil in a pan, then add grated jaggery, along with chopped amla and let it cook for about 1 minutes. When moisture comes out of them reduce the flame and cook for another 2 minutes. Later, transfer to a bowl. Heat sesame seed oil in another pan, when oil is hot, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, dry red chillies, hing, turmeric powder, garlic and mix it. Now, add curry leaves by reducing the flame. Then switch off the flame, add red chilli powder, and mix it. Later, transfer this tempering to the above amla mixture bowl along with salt and mix well. Rest it for about 1 hour and serve it hot with hot rice or roti.
