Amla Instant Sweet And Hot Pickle

Ingredients used in Amla Instant Sweet And Hot Pickle
• Amla / gooseberries - 10 number.
• Jaggery - 1 tablespoon.
• Sesame oil - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Dry red chillies - 5 number.
• Hing - pinch.
• Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Garlic - 20 numbers.
• Curry leaves - 2 bunch.
• Red chilli powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Heat sesame oil in a pan, then add grated jaggery, along with chopped amla and let it cook for about 1 minutes.
  • When moisture comes out of them reduce the flame and cook for another 2 minutes. Later, transfer to a bowl.
  • Heat sesame seed oil in another pan, when oil is hot, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, dry red chillies, hing, turmeric powder, garlic and mix it.
  • Now, add curry leaves by reducing the flame. Then switch off the flame, add red chilli powder, and mix it.
  • Later, transfer this tempering to the above amla mixture bowl along with salt and mix well.
  • Rest it for about 1 hour and serve it hot with hot rice or roti.
